Dog Sitting, Cat Sitting, small animal care:

Please note: We do not board animals in our homes at this time or overnight stays

The following services are included in the basic visit, usually about 1/2 hour long.

Services for your pet:

Fresh food and water
Exercise, walks or play suitable for your animal
Medications administered
Cleaning up after your pet
Scooping or changing litter box
Lots of TLC!
A note for you letting you know how each visit went

Services for your home:

Collect mail, newspapers, flyers and packages
Rotate lights and blinds
Water indoor plants
Check overall home security
Adjust tv or radio, if you leave one on for your pets

There will be an extra charge of $.75 per mile for any location over a 15 mile radius from Lake St. Louis,MO

Companion Time Visits:

When you don't need an overnight, but a normal visit isn't enough, we now offer an extended evening visit. Your sitter stays for 2 1/2 hours, leaving plenty of time for exercise, play, feeding, potty duties, and just plain hanging out and being a companion for awhile. Less expensive than an overnight visit, and a great option for animals who just need a little more company.

A Wag Away walks dogs by the household and does not do “gang” walks. If you have 1 dog in your family, he/she will be walked alone. If you have multiple dogs in your family, they will be walked according to your specifications (either together or individually, it is up to you) We do not walk more than one household’s dog at a time for safety reason, and because you paid for that time block, your pet is entitled to my individual attention and affection

For the safety, health and comfort of your pet, A Wag Away requires that dogs be visited at least once every 12 hours while you are traveling for extended periods of time

To further care for your pet, A Wag Away reserves the right to limit dog walks to 15 minutes when the temperature outside is below 10 degrees or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The remainder of the visit will be spent indoors giving your dog playtime and TLC
